Big changes for privacy and security incoming!

If you’re serious about building better WordPress sites, this is the newsletter for you.

Turns out creating a newsletter while you’re organizing a WordCamp is not feasible 😅. I had planned for it, but it just didn’t work. I was too busy explaining folks what I was going to do with all that extra time now that I’ve stopped organizing WordCamps after 15 years.

Having been busy with my final WordCamp Netherlands the week prior, I also had very little to share.

Hope to make up for that this week and hope you enjoy it!

Required reading I would even say so.

For all you WordPress developers out there that are ready to combine other solutions alongside WordPress. I know I do.

It’s the future of WooCommerce, so if you’re working with it, do familiarize yourself early!

  • This week I learned about the existence of a plugin called Plugin Detective. Its goal is to help troubleshooting conflicts.

  • A new podcast episode of Within WordPress with Ian Svoboda was released today. For anyone looking to better understand working with Blocks, whether that’s in the Block Editor or the Full Site Editor, there’s a lot you can learn from an expert in the field.

We also profess our love for WP CLI quite a few times!

Since we don’t have the RSS feed anymore off of .org with exactly that, this is the next best thing.

Whenever you’re ready, there are three things I can do for you:

  1. Help you find bottlenecks with non-performance WordPress sites. I offer both a Quick Scan and a Deep Scan resulting in an actionable report. Additional support and help is also available.
  2. Help you get your product or service in front of a high influence WordPress crowd. With an open rate consistently above 62% and a CTR rate of more than 20% you will be visible. Additionally, with 10K+ followers on Twitter there’s even more exposure.
  3. Offer you WordPress Consultancy. From advice on how to tackle your next big (performance challenging) WordPress project to actually offering a helping hand. Just hit reply on this email and we’ll get the ball rolling.
